The U-Series Air Cylinder dock leveler’s unique design radically changes the industry standard for air actuated dock equipment. Powered by a tankless, oil-free compressor, it delivers the traditional advantages of an airbag dock leveler; clean performance, reduced operating cost, and fewer moving parts. But enhanced safety features and independent lip control give the Air Cylinder Dock Leveler the reliability of a hydraulic dock…without the oil.

Blue Giant’s air cylinder lifting technology eliminates safety concerns associated with airbag dock leveler: punctured air bags and inability to halt dock deployment during an emergency. The deck flexes under load to allow a smooth cross-docking transition, minimizing the risk of worker injury and cargo or equipment damage. A fluid-based velocity fuse limits platform free-fall.

The air cylinder dock leveler comes standard with the popular Blue Genius Gold Series 1 Touch Control Panel. This advanced control station’s LCD menu screen displays clear instructions for operating and troubleshooting the dock leveler via touch-sensitive buttons. A STOP button freezes the dock in mid-travel should an emergency arise.

A minimum of six heavy-duty U-beam channels are welded to the underside of the deck at dynamic impact points, enabling a stronger distributed load. For more demanding applications, the standard fixed rear hinge design can be advanced to Assured Motion Float, a 4″ maintained deck tilt that allows the dock leveler to withstand heavier usage without experiencing deck fatigue. The air cylinder dock leveler is a powerful dock system that only needs air to keep productivity and safety at optimum levels.
